• Sep 17,  · If you loved the movie as I did, you will enjoy the soundtrack. It's relentlessly dark, moody and magnificent! There are no nasty, loud, make you jump moments,like HansZimmer tends to do. It's great for driving on a wet dark night. There are no stand out tracks, they all blend together well with only an occasional slight change in tempo/5(22).

The album contains ad libs by Reed during and between songs, among them a detailed story of the origin of "Walk on the Wild Side," and a rant against rock music critics, particularly Robert Christgau.

• Mar 04,  · Put out as a vinyl box and an mp3 album. It includes the original soundtrack, plus sessions and outtakes (snippets of which had been stitched together on a previous reissue, in very low quality). Nothing quite as brilliant as the actual soundtrack, but certainly interesting.

• Auch bei "Prisoners" ist das gelungen. Jóhann Jóhannsson baut hier düstere Klangskulpturen mit wenigen Instrumenten auf, die Aufmerksamkeit verdienen und nicht als "easy listening" nebenbei laufen sollten. "Prisoners" ist das beklemmenste mir bekannte Werk von Jóhannson/5(22).
